A Better, More Innovative Approach
Our approach differs greatly from how a closing is customarily conducted in today’s real estate environment. The current closing real estate transaction is inherently designed not to allow buyers and sellers to be in the best position possible during the transaction.
Buyers are not properly counseled and may not be lined up with certain professionals early enough in the transaction. For sellers, the current closing process does not afford them enough time to deal with issues that always seem to surface during their transaction. Our office has a different approach. Our buyers are always immediately introduced to some valuable resources and needed professionals from the onset of the transaction.
For our seller clients, at the onset, we proactively deal with common concerns instead of waiting until halfway through the process to start addressing issues. Issues that may either delay or terminate a closing. We want the real estate transaction to be as seamless and routine as possible for all parties involved.
Meet Our Office
For over thirty years, Carter Law Office, PC, has successfully represented clients who have purchased and/or sold throughout Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
We take an education-based approach to assisting our buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents. We constantly conduct seminars, workshops, and consultations to better prepare everyone involved for the closing process's many nuances.
We teach continuing education classes for our Massachusetts agents, with some of our more popular courses being Closing and Settlement, Due Diligence in Seller(s) Representation in Residential Transactions, Financing, and Purchase and Sale Agreements in Residential Transactions.
In conjunction with those courses, we conduct seminars for buyers, sellers, and agents called “In the Trenches,” highlighting war stories from our past closings so that others can avoid those same issues in the future.
We host a podcast called Real Estate House Party, where we again mention past closing experiences so that others can avoid those same issues in their real estate transactions.
Attorney Carter has written a book called Real Estate War Stories. It also highlights past issues our seller clients have encountered in their particular transactions. Hopefully, by highlighting these past curveballs, we will all be able to avoid repeating these issues.
We certainly have the experience to assist all our buyers, sellers, and agents involved in a closing. The key is to call us early in the process so that we can maximize this accumulated experience.
